The 12 days of Christmas is one of my FAVORITE Christmas carols of ALL TIME. I love the repetition, imagery, and gift giving references. Plus, I can belt it out as loud as I want and I actually sound good! We even have an old Irish linen tapestry with a box for each “day” that gets hung on the wall every year. As a child, I used to stand in front of it at my Grandma’s house and sing it for all to hear. (Really, that was my parent’s alarm clock on Christmas morning for four years.)
A few years ago, Madison picked up where I had left off. Now when I put it on the wall she immediately starts singing.
What does any of this have to do with food, cooking or Madison? Simple – this month my posts will be dedicated to 12 of the ways we like to celebrate Christmas (food and recipes included, of course!) and I’d also like some feedback from you! At the end of each post I will pose a question. I can’t wait to see what you have to say.
